So as promised here are the details regarding our new membership format at:

THE WOODS STUDIO.

Starting October first we will be offering to the public an opportunity to become part of a musical experiment, by combining artists of all different styles in an environment which they can freely express themselves in. With a mission to create art for the masses in a variety of live performances, audio recordings, visual displays, live broadcasts, etc.

The membership will work as follows:

Basic monthly membership will be offered for $10.00 and will allow you access to the studio during our weekly, live, open jam broadcast every Sunday from 4pm until 11pm. Come either just to hang out and enjoy the show or to sign up for the open jam session.

You will also be invited to a free monthly event which will be a live broadcast and recording session where we will showcase the music that we create in the studio each month, as well as bring outside headlining acts from time to time. These shows will be organized by the staff at the woods and will be for members and their pre confirmed guests only. Any persons not pre confirmed or carrying a membership card will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

You will also be invited to any other functions that we might come up with during the month. (i.e. pot lucks, swap meets, art shows etc.)

In addition to these privileges, once you are a member you will have an opportunity to rent the studio for your own purposes at an hourly rate. Here are some rates that will apply based on what the space is being used for.

5.00$- per person for a member who wishes to bring his own equipment into the studio (understanding that set up time is not free)

10.00$- per person for a member who wishes to use the gear that is set up in the studio.
(Just show up and play)

15.00$- per person for a member who wishes to use the studio for a live internet broadcast. (send your vibes worldwide)

20.00$- per person for a member who wishes to do a live recording with the assistance of our sound technician. (Bands, DJ sets, whatever you want to do)

The hours which will be rented on a first come, first serve basis at the beginning of each month and will be available. Please call or E-mail to book time, Shortly there will be an on-line calender for studio bookings!
